I was craving roast pork and they were the only ones open in the area at 8 pm. I went in and they still had a few items 'hanging' by the window in the left side take out area. I asked for 1.5 lbs of roast pork and they weighed and chopped it up. Pork belly had the skin crispy, which of course is an important criteria, and it was roasted just right. Since it sat in the area most likely for a few hours, I was happy it tasted great. I was in and out of there in a few minutes, paid with my credit card. I will be back to try other items on their menu.

Wow. What a surprise. Usually when I see Dim Sum in strip malls I become pretty hesitant to try it out. I mean, it's next to a Starbucks. But my friends and I were there already and we weren't particularly picky today like we normally are. So we decided to walk in. The place was pretty empty which was also a bad sign to me since it was a Sunday and around lunch time. So we sat down. Took a look at the menu and since we were hungry we ordered with our stomachs. Bad idea. The portions were huge for the a la carte items. Service was pretty fast. Our food started coming out right away and boy oh boy were we surprised. First thing that came out was the fried rice. It was chicken I think. It was pretty good. That was our first good sign. Then the spare ribs were next. It came with a lot of rice rolls. Like the proportion on this dish was off. Then came the salt and pepper pork. FUEGO. Then the fried shrimp. FUEGO. Next were the soup dumplings. FUEGO. We ordered the ham and egg noodles. Yes. I never heard of this dish at a restaurant. It sounded like something you make at home when you're hungover so we yolo'd it. It was ok. Then came the 8 orders of dim sum lol. It was really good. The whole time I was watching the lady making the dumplings by hand and it was pretty cool to watch. Overall I will be going back to this place and I will be recommending to friends. If you want decent Chinese food and decent dimsum in San Bruno I'd go here. It's not the best but it's for sure worth the money. Oh yeah it was a little on a pricy side. But it's 2023 and the Bay Area so everything is on the pricy side.

When you walk by this place, you can smell the coconut from the outside and that's what drawn me to check it out. I ordered the coconut chicken pot since it's their specialty. The items included with this chicken pot should be enough for two people but I also added tofu and soup dumplings on the side. To clarify, the two coconuts that come with the meal are used as the soup base and not for you drink on the side. The soup base was sweet and rich in coconut flavor that tasted too good to the point like artificial. Coconut juice usually is pretty mild. So maybe they added sugar. The chicken was brought out raw and added to the soup when it started to boil. The meat itself wasn't seasoned and iit tasted pretty blend even with the sweet coconut soup base. Everything else in the meal didn't have much flavor which was expected since a soup base like this should be light. The soup dumplings were machine made and tasted worse than the frozen ones you get at a grocery market. So avoid getting it if you want the real soup dumplings made by hand. Overall, it's worth the money for how much food you get when coconut alone is $4+ each and you get half a chicken. It tasted healthy and light which is always a positive thing. The service was good and quick with plenty of parking outside.

After a long day, we were looking for a clean soup and saw that red circle had hot pot. I ordered their coconut chicken for two but honestly could've fed three. You get two young coconuts, half a chicken, mushroom, and rice. I did add to the broth some salt and soy sauce to give it that salty sweet taste but overall this was a heartwarming meal and exactly what i was looking for. If you're not a coconut lover than this is probably not the right meal for you. Service was quick but did have to flag down the waitress for more bowls and tea.

All day delicious dim sum. What else can you ask for?! Actually their menu has lots of choices so there is a lot that you can ask for! Great service even when w only one server at evening dining. As long as you are patient, enjoy the food as you are served. Take time and savor your delicious meal. This is now our go to place for great dim sum all day! Looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped by for some post flight pork buns to go!! The food here is pretty consistently yummy. The blonde server was really kind and helpful, more service oriented than I am accustomed to when I visit Red Circle. The ambience is super traditional, they have done a few nice improvements since I last came there. It would be nice if they brightened up the back wall and gave the tank a good scrub. All in all, you cannot beat the price, quality and joy of being able to get dumplings after 3PM!!

Ambiance: casual, a little stuffy too (could have better vents) Service: good Food: 4/5 I originally thought this place was known for their XLB but when we arrived, every table got their chicken hotpot. XLB: 3/5 not that much soup and no vinegar sauce to go with it. would skip spicy wontons in chili oil: 5/5 gave generous amount of shrimps inside, the wrapping was light and great chili oil seaweed salad: 3/5 was a bit room temp when it should be cold chicken and pork tripe pot: 5/5 this soup was herby and peppery, so good if you're feeling under the weather or it's cold outside. generous amount of chicken, pork tripe, mushrooms, comes with rice too! WORTH the price!

Chicken rice or Hainan chicken rice is the thing to get here. Don't expect cheap prices, it's around $17, but the chicken is fresh and the soup and rice taste great. They prepare it quickly and now with Covid I find myself getting the chicken to go whenever I'm around this area. Their chicken is fresh and their rice has a great flavor. Ditto with the great smooth flavor of their coconut soup and their crunchy sweet and spicy cucumber that comes with the chicken and rice dish.
